Newsletter March 2015

March 2015

Spring arrived, and this is the time of new enthusiasm and energy – we welcome you to this new issue of the greenXpo newsletter, transporting eco-innovation directly to your fingertips!

Foremost we kindly invite you to contribute to the community as a participant by joining us in Jyväskylä, Finland. From April 22nd to 24th the greenXpo Final Conference will be held up North, focussing on the important role of enablers in eco-innovation. The meeting will facilitate knowledge-sharing amongst participants on how to (better) design regional policies taking into consideration the eco-innovation concept. By participating in field visits and attending company pitches you will get a grasp of the spirit of the Jyväskylä region – have a look into the agenda! Participation in the event is free, but registration is mandatory.
Because eco-innovation means community, the Conference is jointly organised by greenXpo, EURADA, JYKES and the City of Jyväskylä. By strolling through our news&events section you will find more inspiration for participation and networking.

The greenXpo final conference comes as the conclusion of a series of events organised by the project: in early 2015, two industry dialogue took place, which aimed to discuss eco-innovation in specific value chains.
The first event Motivation and implementation of eco-innovation with the help of ICT to enable interaction between different actors along the value chain: The example of food on the food value chain took place in Cologne, Germany on January 24. The second, Greater interface efficiency in chemical value chains – challenges and potential, took place in Chester, UK, on March 3 with the chemical industry.
Both events have been successful and we hope to meet again in Jyväskylä with the stimulating partners oft he previous events!

Lastly, we would like to invite you to have a look at our newly published Report on Eco-Innovation articles! Specifically for our registered members, the statistics can be downloaded from this page, once logged-in to the portal.

Independently from the newsletter, greenXpo’s knowledge portal provides tailor-made information on all main aspects of eco-innovation. Enjoy a tour there, before joining our LinkedIn group or following us on Twitter to become an inspiring part of this unique eco-innovation community.
